When Jesus said, “It is done.” And then said, “Thank You, Father.” He knew the finished works had already existed. The Bible tells us this is true and for us to follow in the steps of Christ when we believe. Mark 11:24, says, “What things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” The very thing we are believing for is already existing in Heaven, which means it’s already before us. Our problem is that we want to see and believe with our five senses, not with the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. There are times when we enter into prayer, but our senses rule our words, instead of allowing His Holy Spirit to become our one and only sense. Christ said He couldn’t do anything without the Father, and we are the same way. Ask each day for the Holy Spirit to reveal more of the Lord to you. Then you’ll be able to see those finished works that you have been praying for. In the end, the Lord has asked you to simple believe.
